FRIENDLY PIZZA AND PASTA ON EXETER QUAY
Reasonable prices with a 2-for-1 offer on pizza and pasta dishes, often. There is an authentic-looking belly dancing show some nights - the owners are of Middle Eastern extraction, and hubble-bubble pipes are available with interesting fruit flavour smoking mixtures, which are used in the outside seating area occasionally by aficionados. Nice position on the Quay and always friendly service.
SERVICE IS DEFINITELY BETTER ON THIS SIDE OF THE WATER.
Tucked away is this hidden gem of a Bar/ Restaurant. Just to make you aware they have a new chef here who is very accommodating, and their desserts are simply delicious, as are their main courses. Ladies, don't worry about the calories. They do have regular Salsa dance lessons with some charming and helpful instructors. Everybody here is really friendly, and if you ask someone to scoot up and make room for one more, they do. And this atmosphere, which is rarely found in UK restaurants, adds to the evening. To avoid disappointment during the fantastic weather that we are due to have in 2015, I strongly recommend that you book a table, as the views in the evening are simply breathtaking, and I can see this place filling up pretty quickly.
GREAT LOCATION!
This place has a wicked location, and we find ourselves choosing it when the waterfront is empty! The food is nothing special, but in saying that, I still keep returning; I just know what not to order! If you want good pizza, then this is not your place! But they've got some other good stuff on the menu! Also, they have sheesha! This makes them one of the few places in Exeter, thus making it VERY desirable! So grab a table outside, a few friends, and sheesha the night away!!
